Living with her two children in Central Brittany, Marilia is planting a forest. This endeavour is rooted in her past life experience —radical and formative— which took her to the far reaches of the Russian Far East. In the heart of the Taiga, she learnt to survive alongside the last Udege trappers. On her family’s land, on the fringes of an uncertain world, Marilia is reclaiming the practices of self-sufficient solidarity and, tree by tree, cultivating a new environment of abundance.
