Marilia lives in a yurt with her children in Trémargat, a village in central Brittany known for its vitality, solidarity and ecosystem preservation initiatives. There, she is working to create a nourishing ‘forest-garden’.
This initiative is rooted in her past life experience, which was radical and formative, leading her to the Russian Far East where she met Kostia. Their two children were born from the winters they spent together in the depths of the taiga. But their ‘Indian dream’ was violently cut short when Kostia was murdered, prompting a brutal return to Brittany.
Beyond her grief, Marilia brought back with her thousands of seeds, which she sowed on her land in Trémargat. In memory of Kostia, she wove a new environment of abundance and reappropriation of the gestures of solidarity and autonomy from tree to tree.
