Carla is part of a hyper-connected generation lulled by fantasies of a life elsewhere. She dreams of only one thing: leaving the Philippines to live in France. But her grandmother has other plans for her. As her health declines, she is waiting for Carla to take over the reins of the family’s many businesses. Carla must choose: return to the comfortable life that awaits her, or follow her desire to travel to the other side of the world.
