On the foreshore of the Buguélès islands, a silhouette appears on the horizon. It walks quickly over the unstable stones, because the tide waits for no one.
Its body glides from one island to another, seeking encounters, searching for memories and reclaiming a landscape on the edge of the world, threatened with disappearance.
This film, somewhere between documentary and experimental film, explores and questions our contemporary relationship with the rich and fragile common good that is the foreshore.
Shot on 16mm black and white film and Super8 colour film.
